Please review the following important procedures regarding your change of address.
1. Official Ward Office Registration
If you have registered your Hmlet apartment as your official address at the local ward office (住民登録), you are required to complete the official "moving out" (転出届 tenshutsu-todoke) and "moving in" (転入届 tenyu-todoke) procedures.
2. Updating Your Personal Information
Please ensure you update your address with all relevant services and institutions. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Banks, credit card companies, and other financial institutions
- Your mobile phone provider
- Insurance and national pension services
- Electricity and gas companies
- Online shopping and other delivery services
3. Japan Post Mail Forwarding Service
We strongly advise you to register for the official mail forwarding service (転居・転送サービス) at a post office or online. This service will automatically redirect any mail sent to your old address to your new address for one year.

Important: Please be aware that Hmlet cannot store, forward, or manage any mail or packages that arrive at the property after your move-out date. Any items delivered after your departure may be returned to the sender.
